  • Anna Shearer, Certified Yoga & Strength Trainer

Anna Shearer is a 500+ Hour trained yoga teacher. She has been teaching yoga full-time since 2015…primarily focusing on restorative, yin, slow flow, and when she picks up the pace her sequencing style might be what some would call a quirky or funky flow! She loves to incorporate aromatherapy, sound healing, and crystals into her practices and she really enjoys offering the “extra details that make one feel pampered.” Anna also has a passion for weaving in yogic philosophy to her teaching and frequently incorporates principles from various forms of self study such as the enneagram, human design, and astrology. In 2020 she completed her personal training certification and then continued on to become certified as a Postpartum Exercise Specialist. Anna primarily works with students 1-on-1 both virtually and in person but she also leads group classes, workshops, and presents in teacher trainings. Dedicated to the welfare of animals, Anna and her husband are frequently rescuing or fostering stray dogs. Their (current) pack of four keeps them busy and sparked an enthusiasm for hiking in 2021. For three years in a row, Anna and her pack hiked upwards of 1,000 miles each year and continue to enjoy the enrichment of the outdoors and all it offers the mind, body, and spirit.
